3D Secure (3DS)

Add A New 3DS Account

Click on "3D Secure" on the left hand menu. From here, click on "New Merchant" button to setup a new 3DS account.

You'll see a menu on the right hand side. Fill out all of your 3DS Merchant details such as Merchant Name, Store Name, Address and so forth.. Note in the screenshots below - you can choose how to setup a challenge configuration. The default is "no preference". But based on your clientele and personal liking, you may choose to customize this setting. i.e. force challenges, skip challenges, etc.

From here, scroll the side menu down until you see "Visa Settings". Fill in your MID and BIN information for the credit cards you'll be accepting through 3DS on your merchant account. Please note that Visa and Mastercard at minimum are required. American Express and Discover are optional. When finished, click "Create Merchant".

1. You request your BIN from you MID provider for your merchant account.

2. It may take up to 24 hours for your Mastercard Bin to activate and begin working

3. Mastercard BIN will always be different from your Visa BIN.

4. Mastercard BIN will always begin with a 2 or 5.

Add 3DS To Your Store

Next, click on "Stores" on your left hand menu from the dashboard. From here, click on the 3 dots next to the store you wish to add 3DS to and click on "Edit Store".

On the right side menu, under 3D Secure Configuration, use the drop down box to select the 3DS merchant/connection you just created/edited and then click "Update Store".

Add or Change Code

In your front end setup, add the following code snippet before form submission. Please note if you already have this if block from a prior setup (before 3DS), you will need to replace it with the below code block.
